BENCHMADE ROCOCO DAYBED

This solid mahogany Rococo daybed is copied from an American antique and is of uncompromising quality. It features a scalloped headboard, deep fluting on the posts and four fully acanthus carved cabriole legs terminating in robust ball and claw feet. This bed is of through mortise, tenon and pegged construction.

HN 1 HISTORIC NEWPORT SINGLE POSTER BED BY KITTINGER

Introduced as the first of The Kittinger Historic Newport Collection in January 1961, this exceedingly rare reproduction Rococo style bed captures all the detail of the original John Goddard antique, circa 1760-1790. Made of beautifully grained mahogany, this bed comes with a tester canopy and optional fittings for bed hangings. SEE PHOTO BELOW FOR POST DETAIL.

This bed features gracefully tapered front posts with detailed stopfluting and concave fluting at the base of its Marlboro leg terminating on a raised plinth. These beds retain their excellent original finish. The front post detail can be seen by CLICKING ON THE PHOTO.

CW 58-S WILLIAMSBURG SINGLE POSTER BED BY KITTINGER

“IN UNUSED CONDITION” best describes this reproduction of a New England bed, circa 1790-1810. Made of mahogany, its Neoclassic style features graceful turned posts with urn finials. This bed is available with an arched tester.

This bed is truly a masterpiece and made for those seeking only "The Best". Built to a standard not found today, this extremely rare reproduction of a late 18th Century four-poster bed features a sweeping graceful headboard with beautiful cathedral grain mahogany. Noteworthy are this bed's magnificantly turned, robustly carved front pillars with traditional rice bundles. The pillars are finely tapered at the bottom and enhanced with ebony and holly string inlay. This bed is fitted with a tester top frame as the original.
