U570 "GARVAN COLLECTION" OPEN ARM CHAIR BY KITTINGER

This chair is an approved reproduction from the Garvan Collection at Yale University Art Gallery. Like the original American antique, circa 1770, this Rococo style chair is defined by its superb proportions, molded legs, rectangular stretchers, and raked back. This chair is made of mahogany.

U583 "WHITE HOUSE" CHAIR BY KITTINGER

This superlative reproduction of an English Rococo library chair, circa 1770, is in the Oval Office of the White House. This chair offers both comfort and beauty. This open arm chair, like the Williamsburg WA1011 chair, was inspired by an American antique. It subtly modifies the original Chippendale lines by extra height and additional pitch to the back for added comfort.

The original of this Hepplewhite style chair is American, circa 1790, and is in the Williamsburg Collection. This mahogany chair features delicate string inlay, slender arms and tapering legs. It is sometimes called a Martha Washington Chair or Lolling Chair.
