Like the original American antique, circa 1770, this Rococo style chair is defined by its superb proportions, molded legs, rectangular stretchers, and raked back. This chair is made of mahogany. 	U583 "WHITE HOUSE" CHAIR BY KITTINGER This superlative reproduction of an English Rococo library chair, circa 1770, is in the Oval Office of the White House. This mahogany chair features delicate string inlay, slender arms and tapering legs. It is sometimes called a Martha Washington Chair or Lolling Chair.
